Annual Dinner
Save the Date! On Thursday, September 23, 2010,140 REST supporters will celebrate REST's 31 years of Homeless Services. The event takes place at Marcello's Restaurant, 645 North Avenue in Chicago starting at 6:30 pm. Enjoy good food, music, a raffle and a silent auction with prizes worth thousands of dollars.
This year’s goal is to raise over $10,000 to help with the agency's operating expenses, and to raise additional funds to replace 100 shelter beds. The event Chairs are Ryan Piech and Stephanie Maresh.
REST Board President, Mike O'Hara, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Guest speakers include Dr. Damen Arnold, Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health, and a representative from Chicago’s Department of Family and Support Services. The evening will include dinner, a Raffle and a Silent Auction with prizes worth thousands of dollars. Live dinner music will be provided by Edgewater classical guitarist, Jennifer Trowbridge. REST will also honor volunteers, collaborating agencies and board members with six awards for service.
The Program booklet will contain listings of Event Sponsors, Raffle & Silent Auction donors, and ads with warm wishes from many friends of REST.
