Programs
REST’s major programs are:
Emergency Shelter, Interim Housing, and Permanent Housing. Each program serves both men and women. None of our facilities discriminate based on race, religion, sexual orientation or HIV status.
We offer comprehensive Social Services including Case Management with referrals, public benefits advocacy, and Basic Life Skills groups. We network with other agencies to offer pre-employment training, a recovery and spirituality group, legal services, medical and dental services. We strongly encourage our clients to improve their education, starting with studying for their GED, if needed. Other clients have gone on to pursue higher education. Clients who cannot work are expected to dedicate some of their time volunteering in their local community.
